錦織圭大阪直美挺進美網四強

錦織圭在美網八強戰擊敗大會七號種子西里奇，繼女單的大阪直美之後，晉級準決賽，這是日本第一次有男女選手雙雙挺進大滿貫四強。（夏明珠報導）

今年美網選手，因為天氣熱而吃盡苦頭，錦織圭與西里奇鏖戰五盤、四個多小時，失誤都很多，開賽表現強勢的西里奇，先下一盤之後，被錦織圭倒趕兩盤，陷入落後，接著他追回一盤，比賽進入決勝的第五盤，最後他還是不敵，繼大阪直美之後，錦織圭打進四強，大滿貫賽男女單準決賽，都有日本選手，這是公開年代頭一遭。

錦織圭過去在美網最佳成績是2014年亞軍，那年在決賽打敗他的正是西里奇，星期三的紐約，依然熱得讓人發昏，錦織圭與西里奇的失誤都超過致勝球，西里奇有70次非受迫性失誤，致勝球57個，錦織圭致勝球只有29個，贏在失誤比較少，有45次，他報了四年前美網決賽的一箭之仇，不過生涯要再創高峰，他還有兩關要過。

大阪直美過去在大滿貫的最佳成績是今年澳網第四輪，前不久，她才在大師級的印第安泉拿到冠軍，目前氣勢正旺。
